As you know, I go pretty much dormant during the summer months. This is because I really do not handle heat very well. Its difficult for me to function and I really do suffer from “reverse” seasonal depression.
However, I have been cooking up (no pun) some new things I want to add to the website. First of all, a redesign is in order. I understand that people are having problems viewing in Firefox. This is because I dont use it. Why don’t I use it? Because I design and update on a windows machine so I use IE. Firefox doesn’t like to play well with the way I like to design. Anyway, that aside I will work towards improving that. For now I’ve done a temp fix so at least its viewable, however, I’m not sure all of the site features are working.
Secondly, I will be doing live tarot and rune readings for people would like like to participate in that. Again, I don’t charge for this. I don’t believe in it. I feel that if I would start to charge for it, I would become uninterested and treat it like a job. I dont want to do that. This of course comes with stipulations. I will only be doing it once a week for a few hours at night. I will also only be doing a 3 card spread at first, and depending on time constraints, everyone will be alotted 15 minutes. This will give plenty of time for me to give a 3 card reading and for you to ask any questions you may have. I want to stress this, it is very important, I AM NOT A PSYCHIC, I do not claim to be one. Tarot and Runes are a skill that I that I have learned and if you feel that your reading is inacurate, so be it. Cards say what they say. Keep in mind, everything that you hear should be taken lightly. Its all for fun. If you like, you can talk to me about anything witchcraft related instead if you are not interested in a reading, I love to share what I’ve learned with others.
If you live in another country and are unable to be present during the times I will be doing readings, email me a time when you are available and I will juggle things around a bit to help you out. This is only for people who do not live in North America. As much as I’d love to hang out all day on live chat and give readings to you guys, it isn’t feasable until I become independently wealthy. :) I will be sure and post the time at least 4 days in advance so you know when I will be available. I will be using skype and we can either chat over text or over webcam, your choice. The reason I dont do appointments is because I really do not want to be chained to my laptop every night. I hope you can understand that. We all have lives and things we want to do. If that were to happen, I’d have to charge, and like i said, I really dont want to do that. I want you all to have fun free readings. 
Lastly I will be incoporating more Voodoo and Santaria information into the website. There are quite a few witches out there that are in need of more information about these 2 subjects. Unfortunately, I have not found anyone who wants to discuss gypsy magick or chaos magick to me. Let alone teach me but, this is an area I hope to go into in the future.

I’m gonna talk a little bit about my views in the wiccan and some pagan communities. Those of you with delicate minds and easily offended eyes/ears, please read no further and just skip this particular entry. As courtesy, this is a heads up.
For those of you still here:
I’ve been wiccan for the accumulation of 20 years. One thing that has been going on and still to this day is the amount of secrecy that goes on within the community.
Listen, I’m not going to out you to your boss about your religious preference, I’m not going to tell you that you need to come out of the broom closet to your friends and collegues. Thats for you and only for you to decide, if or when the time is every right. I completely understand that some people can NOT come out because of the possible reprocussions to thier jobs and or way of life. We do live in a prodominately christian nation and trust me, I’ve gotten horrible looks from people when they notice my pentagram jewelry. I can sympathize.
What I’m talking about is those of us that are IN the community and how we treat others within our wiccan community. Why all the secrecy? Why is it when someone asks for a simple charm or how to perform a spell, you all clam up? Its always the same ol’ “Uh, you need to figure that out for yourself.” THAT is what I’m talking about, THAT is TOTAL BS. When I’ve asked people about why they wont talk, or why they blatantly tell the other wiccans to pretty much, eff off when someone comes to them with a question, I get the same answer. “Because I dont want to be responsbile for what may happen” That my dear readers is a chicken sh*t answer. I dont care how you look at it, thats WRONG. If anyone comes to you in need of advice GIVE IT. Why are you withholding? They are WICCANS JUST LIKE YOU! I mean once you comit yourself to the goddess it does’t mean you’ve automaticly been granted with all of the knowledge in the universe and can now perform effecitve rituals, charms and spells, now does it? You know, you’ve been there! So you’re saying to yourself “They need to join a coven if they want answers” WRONG AGAIN! NO! Don’t you get it? This is a religion, not a secret society! This isn’t masonry!! If wiccans are seriously seeking help, then they are serious about thier religion and trust me, unless they are 12 years old, they are pretty responsible. The very first thing you learn is “Harm None” and the “Three Fold Law”. You are a wiccan, you shouldnt even be practicing anything negative or damaging to your karma. You should know better. So if they ask for negative advice, just say simply “I dont know how to curse someone, I dont practice that sort of magick” Thats all you have to say! You don’t have to be a jerk about it! If someone is being emotionally abused by their friends, boyfriend or family member, don’t say “I’m not going to tell you how to psychicly attack them, so go away” just say “Here, let me show you how to protect yourself”
How is this community going to flourish and grow and goddess forbid be ACCEPTED in general society If you all treat eachother like unworthy annoying peons? Do you see christians doing this? Do you see christians withholding information from eachother?? Do you see the “I’m not going to tell you how pray cause I dont want to be responsible” No! Christians will sit right down with you, in the middle of a freaking shopping mall and talk to god right then and there. You know why? Because even though they are christans, they are still VERY MUCH supportive of eachother. And I can tell you why. Do you want to know? You ready for this? Because they trust in thier faith 110%. Do you? If you did, you’d be supportive of anyone that came to you in need of guidance. I do! I mean I’ll show anyone how to do a ritual, make a poppet or even do some candle magick. I can do this because I am confidant, I trust in the goddess 110%. I know she takes care of me and mine. I look around and see everything that she has provided me. Everything. The wood to build my house, the cotton to make my clothes, the cat that purrs in my lap.
People, listen. You need to stop disregarding eachother. Love eachother. LOVE. Love as the goddess loves you! Give a tarot or rune reading to someone, show them how to do it for themselves. I love doing tarot readings, i do not charge. ….don’t even get me started on that road.
This blog exists for ME AND FOR YOU! This is for us. This is for us to learn, to grow and to become closer and more intune to ourselves and our universe. If I didnt care, I’d write this down in a personal journal or make this blog private. I do care. I care that you will grow and florish into the outstaning example of a wiccan that I know we all can be. To be accepted by all and to once and for all, show the world that “Witch” isn’t a bad thing, that we are smart, good, helpful, caring individuals with hearts of gold. That everything we do, everything we practice is to make ourselves live more fully and to make our world a friendlier more loving place to be. Love eachother! Grow together!
Moss agate is a multi-shade of green that resembles moss or trees from a distance. It is sometimes found with bands of brown agate and when this occurs it is called mocha stone.
Moss agates are considered the most powerful of the agates. It was the agate of warriors. Moss agate is the most powerful of the agates that helps balance emotional energy. It helps the user to let go of anger and bitterness, so the emotions are balanced. When used in jewelry the moss agate is believed to bring the wearer health, friends and riches.
Moss agate enhances concentration, persistence, endurance and success in one’s endeavors. It is an abundance stone.
Healing properties of moss agate
Moss Agate strengthens in times of stress.
It is helpful in relieving sensitivities to weather and pollution. Midwives use it to assist in successful birthing. It is used to speed up recovery, conteract long term illnesses, cleanse the circulatory and elimination systems.
I remember when I was a little girl, there would be many a time that I would arrive home from school, running in the backdoor, flinging off my backpack near the backdoor in the kitchen while heading for the fridge for a snack. We had pretty strict rules in the house, we always had to eat at the table, didn’t matter what it was, always at the table. Normally this wasnt an issue but some days Gramma would dominate the table with what seemed like hundreds of astrology charts and bio-rhythm cards. Usually on the phone counseling someone with thier chart. She’d push some papers away so I’d have a place to sit. Always busy, astrology charts were her life!
I remember we always had calendar in the kitchen and right next to it would be gramma’s bio-rhythm chart, grandpa’s bio-rhythm chart and of course mine. She would say things to me certain mornings of the month when she would hand off my lunch. “Be careful the next 3 days, you are very accident prone”. Accident Prone. Prone to Accidents, something I’ve heard come out of her mouth 800x. I’m thinking, yeah ok, who isn’t accident prone at my age? I’m a kid! I mean if I’m not accident prone, I’m doing something wrong. Or sometimes it would be “I hope you dont have tests comming up this week, you probably wont do so well, your not going to be very sharp the next few days”. And of course, the emotional wave. “Are you feeling blue today? You’re in a valley emotionally” Gramma, always looking for my best interest, physically, intellectually and emotionally.
Bio-rythms are the natural peaks and valleys of a persons physical, intellectual and emotional cycle. Up and down in waves. There is another one called intuition but, she never really gave that one much effort, I guess she just didn’t put much stock into it. Most charts don’t then again, some do.
Emotional: This cycle tracks the stability and positive energy of your psyche and outlook on life, as well as your capacity to empathize with and build rapport with other people.
Intellectual: This cycle tracks your verbal, mathematical, symbolic, and creative abilities, as well as your capacity to apply reason and analysis to the world around you.
Physical: This cycle tracks your strength, health, and raw physical vitality.
The curve is called positive when it is moving upwards from the base line.
The curve is called negative when it is moving downwards from the base line.
The critical days are when the curve is crossing the baseline - either up or down
Our physical, emotional, intellectual and intuitive levels do not not remain constant. They vary, even from week to week. This is because of the effects of the constant biological fluctuations in our body because of the motion of the planets. The bio rhythm chart is a unique way of measuring these changes. Scientific research shows that our health, finances and emotions undergo a cyclic pattern of ups and downs. The cycle is of 23 days for health, 33 days for intellect, 28 days for emotions and 38 days for the intuition cycle. This is known as Bio Rhythm Cycle.

Rose Quartz “stone of love” used for love, and to increase self love and feelings of self worth. It brings healing and clarity to the heart and allows the wearer to learn to trust again once love has been lost. Its loving nurturing energy takes away fears, resentment and anger and gently replaces them with a feeling of higher self esteem and confidence. Wear in a ring, necklace or bracelet to open yourself to love.
Red Jasper is used in Passion and blood magick. Give a piece of Red Jasper to your lover and make sure they keep it close to them. You can keep a thin piece in your wallet a piece in your handbag or even on a keychain. This will ensure that your lover will be true to you and you true to your lover.
Garnet is the stone of never ending love an devotion. Give this as a gift to someone as a symbol of your undying love and devotion to them. The garnet is a powerful love stone, but only when a garnet is recived as a gift, is when its most powerful.
Other stones used in love magic are: Agate, Amazonite, Charoite, Selenite, Pink Topaz, watermelon Topaz, Larimar, Chrysocolla, Rainbow Obsidian, Opal, Emerald, Rhodochrosite, Morganite, Rubellite, Hiddenite, and Rhodonite.
Moldavite is a translucent green meteoric gem, found only in what is now the Czech Republic. It is classed with the mysterious group of glassy objects called tektites, and it is believed to have fallen from the sky only once, about 14.8 million years ago. Prized by humans for tools and amulets some 25,000 years ago.
Moldavites are rare stones. Moldavites are among the most powerful gemstone tools for spiritual development and expansion of consciousness. They seem to engender an acceleration of one’s inner growth and evolution. Hundreds of times people have described to us the rapid transformation of their lives which has come soon after they acquired Moldavite. Jobs, relationships, life styles or possessions which did not serve their highest paths were rapidly released, and the new, evolutionary forms of these same things appeared, drawn as if by magnetism. We have heard stories of visionary experience, chakra activation, energy cleansings and the discovery of personal destiny, all associated with the entrance of Moldavite in to one’s life.
It is interesting to note that Moldavite has been associated with the legendary Stone of the Holy Grail, an “emerald” said to have fallen from the sky, and a talisman for the healing of the Earth. In the legends, exposure to this Stone was said to set the beholder upon the spiritual road to self discovery and enlightenment. The same could be said of the celestial green gemstone Moldavite. Moldavite is capable of activating any and all of the chakras, though it most commonly resonates with the heart, third eye and crown chakras. Moldavite’s energy tends first to move wherever it is most needed in the physical and etheric bodies, and then to center in the heart.
Moldavite harmonizes well with Quartz, Amethyst, Rose Quartz, Citrine, Danburite, Phenacite, Tanzanite, Azeztulite, Charoite, Larimar, Sugilite and dozens of other stones. It tends to supercharge and spiritualize the energies of whatever stones one uses with it. Faceted Moldavites are intensified by the cutting process. The forming of normally amorphous Moldavite into the precise geometric forms of gems focuses their energies in a way analogous to a laser. Moldavite earrings or rings place these powerful gems on meridian points of our subtle energy bodies, and the focused Moldavite energies flow throughout our whole system, raising our vibration. The same is even more true with pendants, which can be worn directly over the heart or throat chakras, or between them. Mandrake is the common name for members of the plant genus Mandragora belonging to the nightshades family (Solanaceae). Because mandrake contains deliriant hallucinogenic tropane alkaloids such as hyoscyamine and the roots sometimes contain bifurcations causing them to resemble human figures, their roots have long been used in magic rituals, today also in neopagan religions such as Wicca and Germanic revivalism religions such as Odinism. (It is alleged that magicians would form this root into a crude resemblance to the human figure, by pinching a constriction a little below the top, so as to make a kind of head and neck, and twisting off the upper branches except two, which they leave as arms, and the lower, except two, which they leave as legs.)
According to the legend, when the root is dug up it screams and kills all who hear it. Literature includes complex directions for harvesting a mandrake root in relative safety. For example Josephus (c. 37 AD Jerusalem – c. 100) gives the following directions for pulling it up:
A furrow must be dug around the root until its lower part is exposed, then a dog is tied to it, after which the person tying the dog must get away. The dog then endeavours to follow him, and so easily pulls up the root, but dies suddenly instead of his master. After this the root can be handled without fear.
It was a common belief in some countries that a mandrake would grow where the semen of a hanged man dripped on to the earth; this would appear to be the reason for the methods employed by the alchemists who “projected human seed into animal earth”. In Germany, the plant is known as the Alraune: the novel (later adapted as a film) Alraune by Hanns Heinz Ewers is based around a soulless woman conceived from a hanged man’s semen, the title referring to this myth of the Mandrake’s origins.
Mandrake root is usually used as a talisman and worn to attract love or fertility .
The witches ointment was made by boiling very very finely powdered mandrake root in lard for 4 hours (on low boil), adding some organic soot to the mix (to basify the mix), strirring very often. Then you allow the mix to sit in a dark place for 1 or 2week, stirring 4 times a day at least. Then you filter through a piece of cloth (wear gloves), squeezing/pressing well in order to recover all the lard (throw away plant material)
Store in an aitight container in a dark cool place until use.
When the oil is extracted witches would distribute it:
-over their temples
-under their armpits
-over their vagina
-just behind their ears
-over their neck
-over the interior part of their forearm
-over the left part of their stomach
-over their calves
-and under their sole (of the feet).
Note that the calves & sole are for producing a feeling of flight
Extreme caution should always be exercised when using any part of the mandrake in potions, brews and philtres. It is a highly toxic plant, and misuse of it can result in sickness, delirium, or a slow and agonizing death.. The leaves however are harmless.
Supposidly the mandrake will grow best in soil where blood has been spilled.
Commonly in Wicca, the Mandrake root i used to create love-dolls and also for money-drawing magic.
Mandrake is one of the traditional ritual herbs of the Samhain (Halloween) Witches’ Sabbat and is sacred to the following Pagan deities: Aphrodite, Diana, Hecate and the legendary Teutonic sorceress known as the Alrauna Maiden.
