This is where the questions that don’t quite fit into Ask The Witch will go. This is mainly put here because I get quite a few repeat questions.
Where would I go to find a coven or other people who follow my same path?
There are alot of online resources like Witchvox that has a breakdown of many groups and covens in your area. It is free to join and free to create a profile. I would suggest starting there. Also try MeetUp.com. This is a great place to find events in your area such as drum jams or public ritual. This will also give you an opportunity to interact with others on your path.
Do you give Wicca classes?
No, I do not personally give classes, however I am always available for guidance and to help resolve any questions you may have on the subject, you can reach me at andromeda@spellworks.net
Which Wiccan path do you follow?
I am not a Wiccan, I am a witch. The main difference is the rituals, ceremonies and use of deity. I am Atheistic and do not follow a deity. My practices are that of a genuine witch. For example, I can help you if you need to know how to create an herbal remedy for a cold, or indegestion. I know how to perform tarot, rune and palmestry. I can give you information on how to make incense, cultivate an herb garden and extract oils from plants. Although I do know how to perform basic rites, rituals and ceremonies, I rarely partake in them. My website does have alot of spells and ritual help, but this is for anyone who wants to use them as a resource.
Are you available to perform handfastings?
Yes, I have been trained in performing handfasting rituals. If this is something you desire, and you live in my area, please do not hesitate to email me. I do not charge for handfasting rituals.
I am interested in learning more about witchcraft, are there any books that you feel would give me more information?
Yes I have a section on Spellworks called “resources”. I have quite a few books listed and a breif outline and comentary about these books. The books listed are easy to understand and very informative for the beginner well into intermediate. These books should last you for quite a while.
Will you give me a tarot reading?
Yes, I can do that for you. However, due to time constraints I will only be peforming readings for 4 hours at night once a week this Fall. Check the site for information on the next tarot reading. Add my Skype account: “Spellworks” I will be signed on when I am ready to do readings. You may be asked to wait since I offer each person my undivided attention. I will give you a rough time estimate of when you are up next. If you are not on when it is your turn, your turn is forefit and you will have to wait until next available. Do you know that you will go to hell for not following the lord Jesus Christ? What you practice is the Devils work!
There are a few things wrong with your statement. First of all lets get this out of the way. “The Devil” is a christian deity. Anyone who follows “The Devil” is argueably christian.
Secondly, hell is also part of christian dogma…..I dont think I need to elaborate anymore on this subject. Its YOUR hell, YOU fear it.
Lastly, your own faith preaches free will, and freedom of choice, thats why we are put on this earth correct? To be tested and make the right choice? How do you know you are making the right choice? Yahweh is only ONE deity. There are thousands. What do you think the chances are that yours is the right one? Why dont you go talk to a Hinduist about this. Hinduism vastly pre-dates Christianity. Good luck with that.
Are you psychic or a sensitive?
Ha, no but I wish I was. I am empathic, but then again we all are. Every single one of us. Some of us just choose to ignore it. Learn about it, practice it, it may save your life. Its just one of the many sensory abilities we have developed as human beings. Don’t disregard it. All of my skills are learned. Knowledge is gained, and I have gained alot over my lifetime. As far as sensitives go, I have only met one that I believe is genuine, and that is my sister. As far as psychics go, I have difficulty believing them since I have not been given one acurate prophetic reading in my life. Not one. I can perform tarot because I know what each of the cards mean. Is it accurate when I give a reading? Of course, what I’m telling you is what the cards say. Does it coincide with your life? I dont know, only you would know that.
I believe I have a ghost in my house, should I try and communicate with it? I’m told that i shouldnt use a Ouija board becasue I need to be trained properly and I can open doors that shouldnt be open, what should I do?
If you want to use the board, do it. Everyone knows someone, who knows someone else, who’s sister used a ouija board and became possessed or brought evil spirits into thier home. Blah blah blah. This is completely untrue. Who ever is telling you this is either: a) a liar, or b) looking for attention. I actually collect ouija boards because I think they are super cool. Have I gotten one to work? Nope, not without someone else pushing it. 
I am a bit of a ouija board fan and possibly even consider myself an expert on the subject. I even have my grandmothers wooden one, still in the box from the 50’s. As far as the ghost goes. Sure, ask it questions. What is it going to hurt? If you dont wanna talk to it, look around for a ghost hunting group in your area, or maybe these guys http://www.the-atlantic-paranormal-society.com/ can help you out. Unfortunately I am not much of an expert on ghosts. Mainly because of my high skepticism. I really firmly believe that there is nothing a ghost can do to you that they couldnt do in life. So, in other words, possession is out. I dont think when you die, you automaticly gain super powers. You know?
What do my dreams/nightmares mean? Can you help me figure them out?
During sleep we experience alot of random mind “babble”. This is why you may see a dead relative or dream about destruction like tornadoes, earthquakes and etc. What does it all mean? Honestly, most normal dreams about seeing a dead loved one, moving to a new part of town or getting to 2nd base with Megan Fox is just that, randomness. Your brain is constantly firing away and that doesn’t stop in sleep. So what of destructive dreams, nightmares and etc? I have found that a lot of that takes place when we are stressed or uncomfortable with a pending situation. Normally once its resolved, its stops. You may be experiencing a turmoiltous relationship with a signifiant other or your job may be on the line. Dont think the stressful feelings go away once you crash out. Nope, its still there and your mind likes to cook up interesting scenerios with the stress. No worries. We always get though it. So in essence what I’m saying is, you dont need a book or a psychic to descypher your dreams. You just need to work out your troublesome issues. You’ll be fine.
I noticed the Correllian symbols on your site, are you a Correllian Wiccan?
No, I am not Correllian, I am not a wiccan at all. However, I am an outer court memeber. This was done out of respect for other Correllians that I associate with. I do help out with Correllian Wicca matters with a couple particular covens. This is mostly consulting work. However, I am not interested in the Wiccan religion. If you are considering Wicca, I would whole heartedly reccommend looking into the Correllian path. It is a very structured, informative group. You will undoubtedly learn more than you could possibly ever want to learn.
If you are not a Wiccan why do you refer to yourself as a High Priestess?
I have reached that level of training. I have been involved in wicca and witchcraft for over 20 years. I was born a 3rd generation witch. Not only have I grown up as a witch but I have been traditional wiccan, celtic wiccan, dianic wiccan, and a solitary. I have earned the HPS status though years of blood, sweat and tears. You wouldnt expect a retired professional who has recieved a PHD degree to stop calling himself a PHD would you?
